This weekend, the Valdarno is gearing up to host a unique and adrenaline-packed sporting event: the Fiorino Mud, a gravel bike experience on the stunning white roads of the Valdarno and Tuscany that will test the endurance and determination of participants. Now in its fourth edition, hosted by the hu Norcenni Girasole village, the event promises excitement and spectacle, with routes suited to different levels of athletic preparation. From the 70km course suitable for most riders, to the 100km for more seasoned bike enthusiasts, and the most extreme 400km that will take athletes all the way to PuntAla Camp & Resort in Maremma, before returning to the Valdarno a challenge that demands both physical training and mental toughness to be completed within the 40-hour time limit. Registrations are open until September 18 at 11:59 PM.
